Fantastic views
Located in the rolling hills of Abruzzo, Villa Ferranti offers fantastic 360 degree views all around. On one side you will find the Adriatic Sea and on the other side the mountain range of the Apennines. The two hectares of land around the villa contain olive trees and some of these are more than 300 years old. The house is surrounded by Mediterranean flowers and trees.
Swimming pool
Take a refreshing dip in our large swimming pool. Or take a seat on one of the comfortable sunbeds. Have a drink, relax and enjoy. You can get drinks from the bar next to the terrace, where you note the drinks on a list. At various places in the vicinity of the villa you can relax in one of the comfortable chairs or hammocks. Enjoy the peace and the beautiful view. Just do nothing for a while!

In the surroundings
Choose a beach and drive within half an hour to the azure blue Adriatic Sea. During the Italian beach season, sunbeds are reserved for the guests of Villa Ferranti.
Do you prefer hiking in the mountains? Everything is possible. Within an hour you are in the mountains. Are you coming during winter time? Then you can even go skiing for a day….
The city of Atri is about 20 minutes away. Here you will find nice restaurants and shops and its a bustling city to spend your evening. There is a small supermarket in the nearby village that sells daily groceries. A larger supermarket is about a 10-minute drive away.
Tasty products
Also enjoy our fresh fruit and vegetables. Pick the fruits such as figs, apricots and plums. Delicious with your breakfast or just as a snack. Or process the vegetables from the vegetable garden - the most tasty tomatoes, courgettes, bell peppers and peppers - in your own meal.
Children
There is plenty to do for children; play in the pool or in the shady playground with trampoline, slide and swing. There is also an area with toys and books. If you need a high chair or cot or something else for the little one, we will be more than happy to arrange this for you.
Accessibility
Villa Ferranti Abruzzo is easily accessible by car, but you are of course faster by plane.
There are several flights per week to the city of Pescara which is a 40 minute drive to the villa.
You can also fly to Rome. From Rome you can drive to Villa Ferranti in 2.5 hours. Ideal if you want to combine a stay with us with a city trip to Rome.
Animals
We love animals and the things they give us. You will see chickens, runner ducks, a goose, sheep, cats and a dog.
Feel free to drop by and have a look. They love the company and cuddles.
